Increase sales by informing customers of daily promotions

Today, communication has become essential, especially when it comes to retail sale. In large supermarket chains, such as shops and car dealerships, promoting products and informing customers of promotional offers represents an undeniable competitive advantage, in that it reaches consumers at the moment in which they choose what they wish to purchase.

Solari meets this need through the Digital Signage solution, by distributing visual messages in one or more locations at precise times, and by communicating in a dynamic, interactive and engaging way.

Solari’s proposal is made up of both hardware and software elements that allow for a centralized and peripheral management of all Digital Signage contents, through a network of connected displays and the subdivision of their screens into multiple sections, which provide the ability to simultaneously view different multimedia formats.

More specifically, the offered hardware components go from TFT-LCD displays to information kiosks, from LED bulletin boards, that inform customers even before they enter buildings, to the Digital Signage Box, a peripheral device with the purpose of distributing multimedia contents to different devices, even if they already preexist within the client’s system.

As far as software is concerned, Solari di Udine, with its experience as an undisputed leader in the field of public communication, has developed Scenario. Taking into account the field for which the software was created, much attention was given to its simplicity and ease of installation and use. Scenario is designed for the PC platform and Windows operating system environment, and it allows one to prepare contents and to plan their distribution by creating schedules, and to therefore show them throughout the display network.

One last interesting consideration, especially in large retail chains, is the possibility of integrating the Digital Signage solution with the queue management system (SmartQ), which allows one to use the same devices for showing both multimedia information as well as the state of the queue, for example, in the produce section of a supermarket.
